Born to a Senegalese father and a French mother, Alain Gomis is studying history of art and earned a Master in Film Studies.
It then direct several short films, including VORTEX in 1999, presented at several festivals in France and abroad.
Two years later, he made the AFRANCE feature film, a comedy-drama, followed by LITTLE LIGHT.
In 2008, he made ANDALUCIA
In 2012, his new film AUJOURD HUI (TEY) was in the official competition at the Berlin Film Festival 2012
