After studying film production at UCLA, Jean-François worked as an assistant director and as a production manager for various LA based companies (E! Entertainment, Paramount et al).
He left for India , where he co-directed a documentary on the Jews of India : The Bene Israel : a family portrait.
Back in France, after several tasks as production manager on large events (Coca Cola, Novell, Bolloré Group) and a spell at Disney France (Buena Vista Productions) he produced the first Disney show on French television (TF1).
Jean-François founded Twister Events, an events company that organizes festivals such as the FID Marseille, the Paris Film Festival and the International Environmental Film Festival.
He joined Granite films as manager and producer in 2010.
