Granit Films

Active since 2009, Granit Films is a film production company founded by filmmakers Alain Gomis and Newton I Aduaka, documentarian Valerie Osouf and actress Delphine Zingg. Producers Eric Idriss Kanago and producer-manager Jean-François Fernandez later joined them. The filmmakers’ inventive and dynamic body of work has enabled them find an audience and a place in the audiovisual market.

 Their movies, made for cinema and television, have been produced in countries as varied as France, Senegal, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Austria and the United Kingdom.

 Of diverse backgrounds, the Granit team, epitomise the Transcultural ethos. At the forefront of their cinematic agenda is independent creation, which puts the individual and the plurality of cultural influences in the heart of the challenges of globalization. If Granit Films is based in France, its Director’s films are aimed at an international audience.
